All of the parts for our fourth studio album entitled “25” have been recorded and the project has moved into the next stage of production—mixing, where each part is analyzed and refined, and then all of the parts balanced to create a cohesive track.
After that, we’ll finalize the album artwork and send it all into production and it will be available at our 25th Anniversary concert!

This Saturday, May 10 at 10 am, ticket sales will officially open for our 25th Anniversary concert at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall! We will be joined by our long-time collaborators Quetzal and Sumie Kaneko, and releasing two new albums; “25”, our fourth studio album, and our self-titled joint EP with Quetzal. On April 13, we returned from our month-long, 7,000+ mile tour a couple of weeks ago after traveling through 19 states, performing 13 concerts, 5 school programs, and conducting 3 workshops. Thank you to all the theaters and performing arts centers for bringing us out to your communities, and thank you to everyone who came out to our shows!

Deborah Lugo, Vice President of Programming and Education for the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts noted "TAIKOPROJECT was the perfect partner, opening the door for 2,500 fifth graders from across Houston to learn about Japanese music, culture and belonging. They collaborated with us in the design of the performance to ensure it was both an arts and educational experience for our students. We look forward to collaborating with them again in the near future."
